Giovanna Morganti and Francesco Falcone will dialogue around Sangiovese, Chianti Classico, wine, and life.
Chianti is often a cliché that hides and trivializes a geographical place too large and complex to be resolved in a word, in a thought, in a wine.
One who has chosen to break free of any stereotype is Giovanna Morganti, a wonderful performer at Le Boncie di San Felice, south of Chianti Classico. Her wines possess almost intact the breath of that land of limestones, clays and silts; they are different every year, they are Giovanna Morganti's wines, leaving their mark, always.
For the thrill-seeking artisan, making wine is not about vinifying grapes; it is about finding a trace in them and revealing it.
